West Tennessee train collision claims two lives

A collision Saturday morning involving a vehicle and a train in Carroll County, near McKenzie, claimed two lives.

The collision occurred at approximately 8:30 am at a crossing on Harris Road, involving a CSX train and a vehicle.

Multiple media outlets are reporting that one victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and a second was flown to a Nashville hospital and later died.

The collision is reportedly the second at this crossing in the past 30 days.

The names of the victims have not been released.
