Auburn football is set to host Ball State in its home opener Saturday, September 6th.

This is the Cardinals fourth matchup against Auburn in program history. The most recent meeting was in 2009, with Auburn winning 54-30.

Auburn has outscored the Cardinals 147-33 in the previous three meetings against Ball State.

Offense

The Cardinals brought in 53 newcomers under first year head coach Mike Uremovich.

Ball State started its 2025 campaign falling to Purdue 31-0. Quarterback Kial Kelly led the offense in both passing and rushing yards, passing for 87 yards through the air and 63 yards on the ground.
