Demonstrators gathered outside the Ellabell Hyundai facility Saturday afternoon, protesting what federal officials are calling the largest single-site immigration enforcement action in Homeland Security Investigations history.

The protest brought together multiple activist groups, including the Party for Socialism and Liberation, Democratic Socialists of America, Savannah for Palestine, and Your Space Collective.

The federal operation resulted in more than 450 workers being apprehended at the facility. According to reports, most of those detained are Korean nationals.

The raid marks a significant escalation in workplace immigration enforcement, drawing immediate pushback from labor and immigrant rights organizations who converged on the site to voice their opposition.
