PULLMAN, Wash. — The Washington State University Cougar Marching Band is adjusting its game day plan because of air quality concerns, according to a post on their Facebook page.

They will limit playing before the game and cancel their Cougville performance.

The band will also adapt their homecoming performance with alumni. Alumni will have the option to sit and play with the band in the Crimzone, but they will not join the band on the field for the halftime performance.

The air quality index for Pullman is averaging 124 (unhealthy for sensitive groups) today, with conditions expected to worsen as the afternoon goes on.
