SYRACUSE, N.Y. — For much of Saturday afternoon, the UConn football team was on pace to deliver a premier road win against an ACC squad.
The underdog Huskies led most of the game against a Syracuse program that has been on the rise.
The Orange won 10 games a year ago; nine victories came against teams that appeared in a bowl.
And despite several dropped passes and interceptions, UConn held a 17-6 advantage late in the fourth quarter.
