Zaya Wade leaned into Miu Miu ’s tougher codes at the Miutine party in New York City on Friday night. The party at The Twenty Two Hotel marked the launch of Miu Miu’s Miutine fragrance , staged with a guest list of brand ambassadors and new-season footwear.

Wade’s $2,600 boots were cut from distressed brown leather with a perforated upper. Straps buckled around the shaft in staggered rows, while the brand’s logo was stamped at the heel. A lace-up front and round toe grounded the silhouette.

The boots stood out against a collegiate outfit of a pleated navy skirt and striped button-down shirt, both from Miu Miu. A tan leather satchel and oversized gold watch gave the ensemble a practical tone, complementing the shoes’ industrial edge.
