OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - It’s a perfect weekend for college and professional football so if you’re going to a game or having a watch party, you don’t have to worry about the weather.

Tonight will be another clear and chilly night. Sunday will start off quite chilly again with temperatures in the low 40s; some spots in western Iowa may briefly dip into the upper 30s again.

Warming will start kicking in with mid 70s for highs Sunday and a return to the 80s next week. Along with that, the mugginess will increase too, giving us a more summer-like feel.

Spotty to scattered storms are possible almost everyday next week. The first round looks to come late afternoon on Monday into Tuesday morning. The severe threat is low. Gusty winds are also possible Monday reaching up to 30 mph from the south.
