BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A cold front is moving toward the Gulf coast and will have a big impact on our weather in the coming days! Sunday’s forecast looks nice and sunny! A stray thunderstorm is possible, mainly near the coastal waters.

Sunday afternoon will be hot with highs near 90. Luckily, drier air will bring us comfortable weather by Monday.

Cooler temperatures and low humidity will settle in on Monday and will provide much-needed relief from the heat for a few days!

It won’t be long before the heat returns, but muggy weather should hold off until the middle of next week.
