WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — Axel and Tristan Liker-Hill will appear on two screens in the heart of Times Square Saturday, Sept. 6 as part of a video presentation for the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS).

Axel and Tristan, both of whom were born with Down syndrome, were adopted by Adam and Shawn Liker-Hill of West Des Moines, Iowa. The couple adopted Tristan following his birth in 2021; due to a medical fluke, he passed away in 2022 at just 5 months old.

Axel was born in 2023 and adopted by Adam and Shawn at 3 months old.
