LEXINGTON, N.C. — Despite the rain, Lexington held its annual Pride Festival on Saturday at the Breeden Insurance Amphitheater.
For many attendees, the festival represents belonging, freedom, safety, acceptance and love.
The festival featured live entertainment, speakers, vendors, food trucks, community booths and activities. Admission was free and open to all.
Some events included: belly dancing, live vocals, drag performances and DJ A-Vegas on the main stage. An after-party is scheduled for 8 p.m. at Arts Davidson County for attendees ages 18 and older.
