BURLINGTON, Iowa. (KWQC) - A Mount Pleasant man has been arrested in connection to a shots fired incident in Burlington Friday night.

31 year old Darius Smallwood of Mount Pleasant has been charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon.

Police said they responded to the 900 block of Iowa Street around 6:30 p.m. in Burlington for a report of shots fired.

Multiple shell casings were found in the area and a house was struck by gunfire according to police.

Officers said they spoke with people in the area and looked at video leading to the arrest of

Smallwood is being held in the Des Moines County Jail.
