BILLINGS — Dual-threat quarterback Caden Young was impressive, and the College of Idaho scored touchdowns on three-straight possessions in the fourth quarter to defeat Rocky Mountain College 37-20 in Frontier Conference football on a beautiful and sunny Saturday at Herb Klindt Field.
With a crowd on hand that nearly filled the home bleachers and with many onlookers on the grass berms of the Rocky bowl, the Battlin’ Bears (0-1) were playing in their season opener. The Yotes — who received votes in the NAIA preseason poll — had a smaller but vocal following in the visitor bleachers and improved to 2-0 as Young passed for three touchdowns.
