MONROE, La. (KNOE) - On September 6, 1975 Louisiana Public Broadcasting launched it’s programming to the entire state.

LPB began it’s mission to connect Louisiana citizens by creating content to showcase Louisiana’s unique history. People, places and events. Some of these programs also became hits in other states.

Today, the network of six broadcast stations connects the state with information, education and entertainment.
