TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - A man was shot near Sixth and Ajo in Tucson early Saturday, Sept. 5.
The Tucson Police Department said officers were called to the 3700 block of South Sixth Avenue around 2 a.m.
The TPD said an 18-year-old showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound. Detectives investigated and determined that the shooting and the man’s injuries were connected.
The TPD said the investigation is ongoing and no suspects have been arrested.
It was the fourth shooting in southern Arizona that 13 News has reported on so far this month.
On Sept. 4, one person was detained following a shooting near Tucson Boulevard and Valencia in Tucson.
On Sept. 4, 34-year-old Marcus Anthony Javier was found shot in a crashed vehicle near Drexel and Country Club in Pima County. Jav
