BISMARCK, N.D. (Flag Family Media) - The former director of the North Dakota Game and Fish Department has been arrested.
According to the Burleigh Morton Detention Center’s database, Terry Steinwand was booked into jail at 2:42 p.m. Friday. Records show he is facing single charge of Gross Sexual Imposition-Sexual Contact-Victim under 15. He was arrested by the Mandan Police Department, records show.
No details have been released on the arrest or charges. As of Saturday morning, no formal complaint or charges have been filed according to North Dakota’s online court system database.
Steinwand was appointed director of the Game and Fish Department in January 2006 by then-Governor John Hoeven. He was reappointed twice – once by then-Governor Jack Dalrymple in 2010 and once by then-Governor
