PULASKI COUNTY, Ind. — A town hall scheduled for Saturday morning in northern Indiana was canceled late Friday night after threats were allegedly made toward county leaders.

According to a Facebook post from the government of Pulaski County , a Board of Commissioners town hall that was originally scheduled for 9 a.m. at Jack's Celebration Station in Winamac was canceled late Friday night after city officials said threats were being made toward county leaders.

"Due to threats made against county leaders this evening, we believe that, for the safety and well-being of the community, it is best to cancel the Board of Commissioners town-hall meeting previously scheduled for 9:00 a.m. at Celebration Station," the Facebook post read.
