Florida Gators defensive lineman Brendan Bett was ejected for spitting in a wild scene during Saturday night’s game against the South Florida Bulls.

Two days after Jalen Carter was ejected for spitting on Dak Prescott in the Philadelphia Eagles-Dallas Cowboys season opener on Thursday, Brendan Bett followed suit and spat on Bulls offensive lineman Cole Skinner:

While Carter was fortunate that his Eagles pulled out the victory on Thursday night, Bett’s infraction proved costly. He was issued a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, helping the Bulls finish off the drive with Nico Gramatica’s game-winning field goal on the final play to complete the upset.
