MANCHESTER, N.H. —

A line of strong thunderstorms pushed through New Hampshire on Saturday afternoon, toppling trees and branches in some communities.

According to Merrimack fire officials, crews worked to clean up after branches and wires were knocked down across the town.

Three roads were temporarily closed in Merrimack because of the damage, but they have since reopened.

One tree struck a house in Merrimack. Fire officials said residents could be displaced for a few days.

Meanwhile, in Manchester, multiple wires were knocked down, leading to some temporary road closures.

A tree also hit a house in Manchester. The extent of the damage is not known at this time.
