A 3.5 magnitude earthquake struck around six miles north of La Verne in Los Angeles County Saturday afternoon, Sept. 6.
The quake occurred around 5:15 p.m. in the San Gabriel Mountains, according to a preliminary report by the U.S. Geological Survey, at a depth of around 4.5 miles.
Weak shaking was felt all the way down to Huntington Beach, according to the USGS site.
As with most quakes of that magnitude, there were no immediate reports of damage or injury.
