Georgia football is supposed to be able to control the line of scrimmage against an FCS opponent, but the No. 3 Bulldogs couldn’t get the ball in the end zone from a yard away as the first half ended against Austin Peay.

The Bulldogs retooled their offensive personnel with a couple of playmaking wide receivers in the offseason, but the unit still looks like a question mark after a 28-6 win over Austin Peay Saturday.

Especially after the Bulldogs had a first-and-goal-at the 1 with 33 seconds to go in the half and came away with zilch in a game Georgia led 14-3.

Nate Frazier was stopped on a run to the right.

Cash Jones dropped a pass from quarterback Gunner Stockton who rolled out but the play was negated by a defensive holding call.
