GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - ECU football beat Campbell University in a landslide 56-3 tonight, securing their first win of the season.
Waves of purple and gold filled Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium for ECU’s home opener against Campbell, and fans weren’t disappointed with the outcome.
Katin Houser threw 314 yards and two touchdowns before the starters were rested in the second half. As a team, ECU ran for 172 yards and had 535 total yards.
This blowout win comes after the Pirates fell to the NC State Wolfpack 24-17 last Thursday.
