The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Pima County starting at 6:39 p.m. Sept. 6. The warning expires at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 6.

At 6:39 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located over Tucson Estates, moving northeast at 15 mph, with 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail.

Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
