EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Michigan State football is tied with Boston College in the fourth quarter.
BC originally got stopped by Michigan State and was forced to punt, but MSU’s Omari Kelly fumbled the return. A few plays later, Eagles’ running back Turbo Richard had the ball ripped out by MSU’s Jordan Hall, and the Spartans recovered right at the goal line.
The Spartans then went down the field with ease, and after getting a big fourth-down conversion, Aidan Chiles connected with Nick Marsh, and he powered his way in for an 11-yard touchdown reception to give MSU a 7-0 lead.
Each team would have drives stall, and the Spartans held onto the 7-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.
