SALT LAKE CITY – Just after halftime, Utah quarterback Devon Dampier found Dallen Bentley by the pylon to increase the Utes’ lead.
The play marked Dampier’s third touchdown throw of the game and Bentley’s second touchdown catch of the season.
Through three and a half quarters, the Utes scored a touchdown on five of their eight offensive drives. The sixth touchdown came on a first-quarter Jackson Bennee pick-six.

Dampier checked out after Utah went up 42-6. He connected on 17 of his 23 pass attempts for 192 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed four times for 25 yards.
At the same point in the game, Bentley had two receptions for 35 yards and the score.
