SALT LAKE CITY – No. 25 Utah football took care of business in week two against the Cal Poly Mustangs at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday.

Quarterback Devon Dampier threw three touchdowns, running backs NaQuari Rogers and Wayshawn Parker had two scores apiece, and Jackson Bennee extended the Utes’ streak of years with a pick-six to 22. Freshman QB Bryd Ficklin checked in in the second half and ran in two more scores from under center.

Over the last 14 years, Utah has played eight games against Big Sky opponents. They are undefeated in those matchups with an average margin of victory of over 35 points.

The Utes will hit the road again in week three to face off against the Wyoming Cowboys in Laramie.
