Desi Lydic celebrated her 10th anniversary on The Daily Show Saturday by winning her second Emmy and telling reporters that for now, no one from the new leadership team at Paramount has told the show to cool it with the political humor.
“We haven’t been asked to change anything,” said Lydic to reporters after she won in the Performer in a Short Form Comedy category at the Creative Arts Emmys . “We aren’t holding back and we don’t intend to.”
The Daily Show comedienne was also asked to weigh in on the state of late night, especially given how The Tonight Show with Stephen Colbert will end its run next year.
