Fenton evened its record at 1-1 with an 18-13 Upstate Eight Conference crossover victory over Streamwood on Friday night at Millennium Stadium.

Senior tailback Omar Diaz, who topped the 100-yard mark, put the game out of reach with his 4-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter for the Bison, who finished with 192 yards on the ground.

Streamwood junior quarterback Aden Sanchez connected senior Jesse Sanchez on a 17-yard touchdown pass in the final minute. Earlier, the pair teamed up for a 55-yard scoring strike.

Defensively, the Sabres were led by DJ Morris (9½ tackles) and Armani Pierce (forced fumble).
