BRADENTON, Fla. (WWSB) - In Bradenton Saturday, an ADA and play event was held, to give people of all disabilities time on the field.
The players were able to take part in multiple sporting events, see sports demonstrations and learn more from community resources.
Allison Minardi is the recreation division manager for Manatee county and she tells ABC7 more about this event, “We have adaptive pickleball, tennis for fun, top soccer shooting drills and from all people’s gym, we are hosting the wheelchair basketball team ‘Strongjaws’ and they are an international team that plays all over. So it’s really exciting.”
