NORMAN, Okla. – Michigan’s first Southeastern Conference road game in program history ended Saturday in a 24-13 loss.
No. 18 Oklahoma stifled the 15th-ranked Wolverines, handing them their first loss in their past 14 night games.
The Sooners struck early and fed off their home crowd, taking a two-score lead into halftime. Michigan’s lone bright spot offensively was a 75-yard touchdown run by Justice Haynes on the first play of the third quarter, but was largely disjointed against an experienced Oklahoma defense .
