It wasn't the big prize, but two Powerball tickets for Saturday's drawing matching five of six numbers were sold in California, lottery officials said.
The winning numbers for Saturday night's $1.8 billion jackpot were: 11, 23, 44, 61, 62 and Powerball number 17.
Two tickets worth $1.56 million were sold at: • Love's Travel Stop at 2000 E. Tehachapi Boulevard in Tehachapi, Kern County • Circle K at 7850 Amador Blvd. in Dublin, Alameda County
Officials said two lucky players won the grand prize, matching all six numbers for the $1.8 billion jackpot. They were sold in Missouri and Texas. The cash value was $820.6 million.
Saturday's jackpot was the second largest in U.S. history after 41 draws without a winner.
The odds to match all six numbers are 1 in 292,201,338.
