HALAWA, Hawaii (Island News) -- Honolulu police arrested a man on Saturday in connection to the murder of his wife in their Halawa home.
A second-degree murder case was opened by the Honolulu Police Department on Thursday, Sept. 4, after the body of a 43-year-old woman was found in a home on Haaheo Place. The victim suffered apparent blunt force trauma.
The suspect was identified as the victim’s husband, 38-year-old Frank Bright. Bright was arrested on Saturday, Sept. 6, for second-degree murder.
The name of the victim will be released by the medical examiner's office at a later time. An autopsy will be performed to determine her exact cause of death.
Bright's charges in this case are pending further investigation.
