It is one of the UK's most widespread miscarriages of justice - hundreds of postmasters and mistresses falsely accused of theft, on the basis of data from faulty software.
Handsworth postmistress Roopie Gill was one of more than 900 sub-postmasters prosecuted for shortfalls in their accounts on the basis of incorrect information from the Horizon computer system.
Roopie, 56, has now returned to run the Post Office branch she was dismissed from, founded by her father.

Mum-of-two Roopie ran Wattville Road Post Office in Handsworth along with her father Nirmal Singh Kailey - who bought the business in
