A Midlands father-of-two diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND) has released a series of candid pictures showing the harsh realities of the condition to raise awareness.

David Scott, 60, from Leicestershire, known as Davy, said his "body is dying day by day" as he campaigns for increased funding and research into finding a cure for "this horrific disease".

The dad was diagnosed in February 2024 after having difficulties with his speech. The revelation that he had the terminal, progressive neurological condition was a shock, with Davy admitting he knew little about it.
