A Birmingham resident says they had a breakdown and were forced to leave two jobs due to "horrific" activities taking place in a supermarket car park near their house.

The resident, who has spoken to BirminghamLive anonymously, said they left two well-paid public service jobs in the last two years due to disruption caused by "chaotic" boy racers turning the Sainsbury's Maypole carpark into a make-shift race track.

The resident spoke of "horrific noise" at all hours of the night in the car park of the Alcester Road South store.
