Quinnen Williams anchors the interior, and the Jets didn’t think he had enough help, so they swung two late-August trades to bolster the depth. Former Bills and Vikings nose tackle Harrison Phillips plus Jowon Briggs joined the fray in exchange for some late-round picks.

Will McDonald and Jermaine Johnson are the big names on the edge, but the latter hasn’t played since a torn Achilles in Week 2 of last season. Quincy Williams, Quinnen’s older brother, is the playmaker to keep an eye on at linebacker while Jamien Sherwood racks up tackles.
