Additional charges are expected against the two women accused in the death last week of a 9-year-old Fayette County girl, according to the district attorney, who alleged Sunday that another child living in the home was suffering from “severe child abuse and neglect.”

District Attorney Michael Aubele said in a release Sunday night that four children were removed from the home where Renesmay Eutsey had been reported missing Wednesday.

One of those children, a 6-year-old, was taken to UPMC Children’s Hospital, where an evaluation revealed they had been abused and neglected, including have a body mass index — an estimate of body fat based on height and weight — of 0, Mr. Aubele said in the release.
