Scene writer Jimmie Tramel, photojournalist Mike Simons, reporter Randy Krehbiel and Scene editor Nicole Marshall Middleton have done a lot of work to prepare Tulsans for Sterlin Harjo’s next TV series shot right here in town. Over the next three Sundays, we will feature stories leading up to the Sept. 23 premiere of “The Lowdown” on FX. Harjo’s last acclaimed TV series, “Reservation Dogs,” was also shot in the Tulsa area. “I thought that ‘Reservation Dogs’ was the most Oklahoma show ever,” Tramel told me. “I think ‘The Lowdown’ is the most Tulsa show ever.”
