A study polling 1,000 UK adults revealed that many encounter loos or urinals that are dirty, lacking hand soap or toilet paper, or plagued by unpleasant spillages and odours. However, merely 17% of washrooms consistently meet basic standards. ‌

The research also discovered that 23% of Britons have cut short visits to cultural or entertainment venues due to the condition of the facilities. ‌
