Rangers loan kid Zander Hutton hopes he can take pointers from Ibrox skipper James Tavernier to help make his spell at Hamilton Accies a success. ‌

The 19-year-old joined on a season-long deal on Saturday and made his senior debut in a 4-2 win over League Two East Kilbride at K-Park in the KDM Evolution Trophy, playing his first full 90 minutes in eight months. ‌

Hutton has come through the academy at Auchenhowie but has been in and around the Gers first team for much of last season and also spent pre-season with Russell Martin's men, sampling a training camp at St George's Park in Staffordshire and being on the bench for all of Rangers' recent Champions League qualifiers, which ended with a brutal 6-0 battering by Club Brugge just under a fortnight ago. ‌
