BBC Breakfast host makes surprise return as she pays moving tribute to co-star who died of cancer
BBC Breakfast welcomed back Dan Walker and Louise Minchin on Sunday's programme, where they delivered a heartfelt tribute to their late colleague Bill Turnball, who died in 2022.
Bill Turnbull, a former BBC Breakfast presenter, sadly died at the age of 66 in August 2022 after being diagnosed with prostate cancer, as confirmed by his representatives at the time.
His family issued a statement at the time saying, "Bill will be remembered by many as a remarkable broadcaster who brought warmth and humour into people's homes.
"Following a challenging and committed fight against prostate cancer, Bill passed away peacefully at his home in Suffolk surrounded by his family on Wednesday, 31 August.
