ROCHESTER, Minn.- The Rochester Area Pickleball Association says as plans with the city of Rochester have come together for renovations at Cook Park the final project could cost anywhere between the original $300,000 and $398,000.

According to Denise Dupras, RAPA president, the final design could vary in price depending on the city decides to simply replace the original asphalt or use concrete as the new surfacing for the court which could last longer, the final bid could also cost more than originally expected.

She says this is why the group's current fundraising goal is around $200,000 to provide flexibility.

RAPA has made an agreement with the city to pay half the cost of the total project, so that goal allows them to meet that commitment with flexibility for additional repair funds.
