The Cleveland Browns ' starting quarterback in 2025 will be a familiar face.

Joe Flacco, the wily veteran who has played for five NFL teams during a 17-year career, will be atop the Browns depth chart at QB to begin the year .

A former Super Bowl champion, Super Bowl XLVII MVP and 2023 AP Comeback Player of the Year (with the Browns ), Flacco has been a mainstay for NFL fans dating back to 2008, when he debuted with the Baltimore Ravens — starting all 16 games and compiling an 11-5 record.

Flacco will aim to be a leader in 2025 for a Browns team that finished 3-14 in 2024, a year after finishing 11-6 and making the playoffs in no small part because of Flacco's steady play under center to close the season.
