Alyson Stoner’s new memoir is an invitation into a cultural conversation.
The former child star and mental health advocate hopes Toledoans, especially, will find it a heartwarming and meaningful story.
“My favorite moment in the entire manuscript takes place in Toledo,” said Stoner, who grew up in the city before moving to Los Angeles at age 7. “Toledo has had a chance to see some of the story as I've grown up in the industry, but now I want to invite everyone into the rest of the story.”
Stoner’s book, Semi-Well-Adjusted Despite Literally Everything, was released last month. Through the star’s own experiences on sets like Camp Rock and Cheaper by the Dozen, the book dives into the dark realities kids in Hollywood face.
