Reform UK MP for Ashfield Lee Anderson at his party's conference in Birmingham
Ashfield MP Lee Anderson has claimed that many people in the UK now feel "threatened by other religions". The Reform UK MP said an increase in people going to church could be likened to people choosing to put the English flag up on lamp posts.
"We used to live a traditional British way of life", Mr Anderson said at the Reform party conference in Birmingham on Friday (September 5). The MP made his comments during an evening panel discussion hosted by the Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) on how to tackle the inequalities faced by young men in the UK.
The CSJ has highlighted how the progress of boys is lagging behind girls in education from primary school to the end of higher education. Since the pandem
