A significant cooldown is bringing fall-like conditions to central Pennsylvania, with potential for frost in northern areas and refreshingly low humidity across the region. High pressure will create mostly sunny skies and dry conditions through the early week.

The National Weather Service forecasts temperatures will drop into the 30s and 40s Monday morning, with frost possible in northern Pennsylvania’s river valleys and typical cold spots.

Temperatures will remain below seasonal averages, with daytime highs in the 60s and 70s and overnight lows ranging from near freezing to around 50 degrees.
