WARREN - The American Red Cross donation bus is rolling into the Ohio State Highway Patrol's (OHSP) Warren Post on Monday morning for a mobile blood drive.

Bus Blood Drives, also known as "Bloodmobiles," according to the American Red Cross, are a way to make blood donation convenient by bringing donation opportunities to areas that may lack them.

The drive at the OSHP post will last from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and is open to the public for walk-ins. However, donors are encouraged to set an appointment in advance to reduce their wait time.

Appointments are available at the American Red Cross website using the sponsor code: OSHP on the main page or by calling the Red Cross at 1-800-RED-CROSS .
