OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) - A 25-year-old man was arrested Sunday morning for Operating While Intoxicated after driving the wrong way on Highway 441.

Around midnight, Outagamie County law enforcement was notified of a wrong-way driver on Highway 441 that got onto Interstate 41 heading northbound in the southbound lanes.

While Kaukauna Police were responding to the call, the suspect vehicle crashed into a southbound vehicle just south of Highway 55 in Kaukauna.

Interstate 41 southbound was shut down for several hours during the investigation and reopened shortly after 7:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Officers found the wrong-way driver was possibly under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to a hospital by Kaukauna Ambulance for what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries. He was
