LYON COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - A woman from Princeton, Kentucky is facing charges after an incident Friday afternoon.

According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, the assistant manager of a business off KY 293 reported a suspicious vehicle driving around the property at 2 p.m. on September 5.

The vehicle’s registration plate number was documented, and a deputy came to investigate.

The driver was identified as 32-year-old Emily Tucker. The deputy learned Tucker had been to the property two previous times when it was closed and stole scrap metal, which she later sold.

Tucker was charged with third-degree criminal trespassing and theft by unlawful taking (more than $500 but less than $1,000).
