CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - A Jackson man faces charges after authorities say he fired multiple shots while drunk.
21-year-old Brock Benton is charged with unlawful use of a weapon.
According to the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s Office, the shots were reported on the 100 block of North Legend around 8:45 p.m. on Thursday, September 4.
Investigators say Benton appeared to be intoxicated when they arrived on the scene.
According to a probable cause statement, Benton took a breathalyzer at the sheriff’s office and blew a .220 BAC, which is nearly three times the legal limit.
