Organizers behind a benefit dinner for community mutual aid held at HOME Restaurant recently announced the event was a success, raising $16,000.

HOME Restaurant, at 3101 N. Main St. in Soquel, hosted the event. The program started with a reception and ceremony, followed by a sit-down family-style dinner with four courses and wine pairings. It included a silent auction as well. The event supported Campesina Womb Justice ( linktr.ee/campesinawombjustice ) and Ventures ( sccvonline.org , formerly Santa Cruz Community Venture).
